Official solution of the email verify issue:

How to prevent our e-mails from becoming spam:

Many of our users never receive our e-mails due to spam filters used by their e-mail providers or programs, because the e-mail address registered to their account is no longer used, or because they once could receive our e-mails but no longer can due to changes by their e-mail provider. Many of these e-mails contain important information, such as help for technical issues, replies or requests for information from in-game support, and important information from our Customer Support Team.

It is very important you ensure your spam filter is properly configured to allow e-mails from @playrequiem.com so that when you contact us, we can contact you back!

Verifying your registered e-mail address

Please make sure to check what e-mail address you entered when you created your account. This can be found by logging in to the Manage Account page using your normal account name and password. Your registered e-mail address is what will be used when your account is created and we seek verification. You don't want to lose that e-mail just because of a spam filter!

Configuring your e-mail service/client

To make sure you will always receive our e-mails when we send them, you can add us to an e-mail "whitelist". Choose the e-mail provider below that you have your Requiem account registered to. You may also need to follow steps for additional providers if you contact us from something other than your registered e-mail address.

MSN/Hotmail

The steps below will help guide you through the process of adding @playrequiem.com to the MSN/Hotmail Safe List. This will help ensure that all e-mails sent by Gravity Interactive, Inc. can be received.

1. Log in to your Hotmail account.
2. Click on the Mail tab to view your inbox.
3. Click on the Options link in the top right.
4. Click on the link for Junk E-Mail Protection (the top link).
5. Click on the Safe List link (5th link on the page).
6. Here you can add an address or domain to Safe List.
7. Type playrequiem.com in the available field and click the Add button.
8. You will now see @playrequiem.com listed in the Safe List section.

Gmail

Gmail does not use an "active" spam filter, but instead filters e-mails dependent on your actions. It will only filter e-mails as spam if you choose to mark them as spam.

The best course of action would be first to use the search feature and look for e-mails from Requiem. If all of the e-mails are safely put into your inbox then you should not need to make any changes. However if you find some have been moved to your spam box follow the few steps below on how to make sure it isn't marked as spam in the future.

  1. Open the e-mail from Requiem that has been sent to your Spam box.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the e-mail and click on the Not Spam button.

That's it! You are now set up to receive all official Requiem e-mails!

Yahoo

The steps below will help guide you through the process of adding @playrequiem.com to a Yahoo mail filter. This will help ensure that all e-mails sent by Gravity Interactive, Inc. can be received.

 1. Log in to your Yahoo e-mail account.
 2. Click on the Options link in the upper right.
 3. Click on the Filters link under Management.
 4. Click the Add button.
 5. Select the drop down to the right of the From header label.
 6. Choose "ends with".
 7. In the blank field to the right enter @playrequiem.com
 8. Select the drop down in the Move the message to: section near the bottom.
 9. Choose Inbox.
10. Click on the Add Filter button in the lower left.

That's it! You are now set up to receive all official Requiem e-mails!

AOL

We currently have no available instructions on how to properly configure the AOL spam filter to allow e-mails from Requiem, but we're working hard to get them up as soon as possible!  In the mean time we recommend contacting AOL support for help with the configuration.

Internet Service Provider

If you use your Internet Service Provider (the company that provides you your internet access) for e-mail you will need to visit their website and possibly contact them about how to add an e-mail address to a "whitelist" or "safelist". The address you should be trying to add is @playrequiem.com; While this isn't a full e-mail address, it will allow you to receive e-mails from all of our departments.

Forward Thinking

We have found that many customers run in to e-mail related difficulties because they forget to think ahead when changing e-mail addresses or moving and acquiring a new ISP. It is important that the e-mail address on your account information is current and is configured to properly allow e-mails from Requiem.
